Why I Made This Book
As a Korean teacher, I often meet students who are planning a trip to Korea and want to learn some Korean before they go.
But when your trip is only a few months away, starting with Hangeul, building basic grammar, and working your way up to practical expressions isn’t always easy.
So I started sharing Korean expressions on Instagram and TikTok that learners could actually use in Korea, even if they couldn’t read Hangeul yet.
This book grew from that series.
I brought those expressions together, added many new ones, and organized them into 100 practical expressions for travel and everyday moments in Korea, with variations that help you turn those 100 expressions into many more phrases you can actually use.
